Snorkeling at Koh Gai

Spend the day in paradise! Cruise around the emerald expanse of the Andaman Sea, exploring the four islands just off the Krabi coast, each with their own very distinct personality. The four islands are Koh Gai, Koh Tup, Koh Mor and Koh Poda. The islands are remarkably picturesque and among the most photographed in Thailand.

Visit Koh Gai or Chicken Island, so called because of it's strange rock formation resembling a chicken’s head. Here you can enjoy snorkeling in the clear waters and discover an underwater world with many tropical fish. Koh Tub and Koh Mor can be visited at low tide when the sea separates to reveal a shallow sandbar that links the two islands, called ‘talayweak’ by locals. A coral reef lies just off shore and offers excellent snorkeling.

Unsurprisingly, this is a popular spot to relax and enjoy some sunbathing!  We also visit Phranang beach, a world famous climbing spot due to the stunning limestone karsts and the famous fertility cave, a sacred mystical place for local sea gypsies who offer shrines to the fertility goddess.
